Dewars® 18 is the world’s most awarded blended Scotch whisky, winning over 500 medals – more than any other whisky company. Dewar's 18 Year Old Blended Scotch Whisky is a blend of very rare vintage single malt and single grain Scotch whiskies, hence the nickname, “The Vintage.” Each bottle includes whiskies from the five single malt distilleries owned by John Dewar and Sons. The whiskies are then married in vintage oak casks. This special blend is creamy with notes of honey and marzipan.

Is not a specialty release, nor is it really an experiment. Black Barrel is a blend, but it’s comprised of a larger quantity of single pot still whiskey aged in re-charred bourbon barrels. They are using a “rare small batch grain whiskey” for the blending as well.

A collaboration between the Jameson Master Distiller and the Franciscan Well Brewery in Cork, this is a unique and modern Irish whiskey. The Franciscan Well Brewery uses ex-Jameson Whiskey casks to age its stout beers, and this expression has reused these very same barrels.
