Los Danzantes is a restaurant group that owns the famous mezcalería - Corazón de Maguey ("heart of the maguey") - in the bustling neighbourhood of Coyoacán, Mexico City.

With a superb food menu they also stock an excellent selection of hand crafted Mezcals and in 1997 the group decided to purchase a palenque, or distillery, in Santiago Matatlán, in the state of Oaxaca, south-west Mexico, and began making their own brand of mezcals including Alipus.

Tasting Note: Aged for sixteen months in Nevier oak barrels. Darker colour with well-matured and rounded flavours. Smooth and mellow with a long and gentle finish.

Tasting Note: Aged for eleven months in Nevier oak barrels. Combination of matured fruits and smoky aromas are confirmed on the palate with honey and caramel flavours that lead to a smooth but well-rounded, elegant and robust finish.

Tasting Note: A clear Mezcal with green herb and cooked agave aromas with fresh green citrus fruit flavours with a slight sweet smoky finish This is a smooth warming Mezcal that has been bottled immediately after distillation, without resting in wood.

Patrón tequilas are handcrafted at the Hacienda Patrón distillery in Jalisco, Mexico where people are the heart of the process - one that has remained the same since the very beginning. First, skilled jimadors uproot only the finest 100% Weber Blue Agave with the perfect sugar content and transport the heart of the plant to Hacienda Patrón. They’re then hand chopped, baked and crushed by a two-ton volcanic stone tahona wheel and a roller mill. The agave is then fermented in pine oak tanks and distilled in small batches using copper stills. Each bottle of Patrón is a work of art, meticulously inspected, hand corked and signed.

Patrón Añejo is handcrafted from the finest 100% Weber Blue Agave and is carefully distilled in small batches at the Hacienda Patrón distillery in Jalisco, Mexico. It's then aged in a combination of French oak, Hungarian oak and used American whiskey barrels. Elegant with a smoky sweet finish
