Today, Jean CHANFREAU, accompanied by his wife Marie-Hélène, his sister Caroline Chanfreau-Philippon, his niece Marion and his two sons, Guillaume and Loïc live this vineyard with passion.

The grape varieties cultivated on the estate are typical of the Médoc and express perfectly our terroirs from Listrac: Cabernet Sauvignon is the soul of our wines with its aromas of black fruits, its impetuousness and its structure. Merlot, brings fruity, unctuousness and greediness. Petit Verdot delivers intense color and spicy notes.

This Medoc, round and racy, is widely recognized by his peers, classified Cru Bourgeois Superior in 1932 and 2003,  member of the Alliance of Cru Bourgeois Médoc, member of the Union des Grands Crus Bordeaux.

As the property’s flagship wine, Château d’Arcins is an homage to the bold style that defines wines from the Haut-Médoc… This is an aromatic wine, made from a blend of 50% Merlot and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Colour: Deep, dark crimson.

Nose: Attractive aromas of black fruit and mocha.

Palate: A powerful palate characterised by luxurious tannins, softened by the notes of eucalyptus that give this wine its freshness and complexity.

Making up the majority of the blend, the Merlot varietal lends Latour Camblanes its refined, delicate profile. On the nose, pleasingly juicy red fruits are joined by finely nuanced spice. Velvety tannins underpin the wine’s bold fruit, bringing together freshly picked red berries, cocoa and cardamom. The wine’s tannic structure is finely balanced, supporting a harmonious finish.
